Biography

Quino has been playing for the last 35 years with a lot of great Spanish bands and musicians. He has toured all over the country many times and is a prolific session musician. We can remember him touring with La Trinca, Gato Pérez, Especialistas, Lucrecia, Jarabe de Palo and now is performing all over the world with Bunbury. He uses Meinl percussions and cymbals since 2011 and bases his sound in Luis Conte congas and Woodcraft bongos. But for him, playing MEINL is much more: “I´ve been searching a percussion gear that could give me different tools to let me express myself and now, after more than thirty years searching, I have found MEINL.
