hi folks,
i'm proud to announce that the TAKU HIRANO SIGNATURE HAND-BALE is now nominated for the eminently respectable M.I.P.A. award in the best percussion instrument category! more than 100 magazines from all over the world vote for the best products in more than 40 categories.
the award ceremony is going to be held at the musikmesse in frankfurt. so i'm looking forward to this event and i hope that we'll make it again!
personal thanks to taku who came up with this great idea and who assisted me through the whole production process!

Mario! I'm so elated that the Hand-Bale is getting recognition straight "out-of-the-gate" from NAMM 2010! Here's to continued success for Meinl, continued collaborations between us, and continued development on Meinl's part of innovative ideas and instruments that benefit percussionists of all styles, backgrounds, playing abilities, and levels around the world!
