MR. TAMBOURINE MAN

25Feb 2010

hello world,

i just found this youtube links from our friend and MEINL artist jose cortijo playing our tambourines.

some of you might think, what - just tambourines?!
well, i think tambourines are the most underestimated percussion instruments of all. those of you who ever had a recording session with a tambourine know what i'm talking about ;-)

anyways, i think it's a very good exercise and it also shows you the different jingle sounds that we offer.

thanks jose for posting this!

I love it when people play underestimated instruments serious! Everybody loves to play a conga set, surdo, djembé or other big instrument, but when you also can play small shakers, tambourins, triangles or tamborims in a groovy way, than you may call yourself a all-round percussionist! Jose proves in this videos that he's worth this title. Thank you Jose for recording this and thank you Mario for keeping us informed.
