Timbales

The first tack welds make it into a raw drum body.
Rollers form the body flanges, which are important for stability and a proper dry Cascara sound.
Here you see raw components for the Luis Conte Signature Timbales. The freshly cast mounting brackets will be cut free and individually polished. In the background, note the heavily hammered texture in the center portion of the shell stock.
The MEINL Luis Conte Signature Timbales have a hammered texture. This is applied before the body is rolled into shape.
