MEINL Percussion is very proud to welcome Arturo Stable to the family.

Multi-Percussionist/Composer Arturo Stable was born in Santiago de Cuba. He obtained his first music degree as a Percussionist at the national Conservatory Amadeo Roldan, in Havana, Cuba. Years later he will obtain a second degree from The Berklee College of Music, this time in Contemporary Writing and Production and a Master Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Arturo has share the stage/Studio with artists such as Paquito D Rivera, Esperanza Spalding, The Caribbean Jazz Project, Miguel Zenon, Terri Lyne Carrington, Christian McBride, The Philadelphia Symphony, among others. Mr. Stable also has an extensive experience as a Clinician. He is the Chair of the Hand Drum Department at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and constantly collaborates with different universities in the USA, Europe and South America. Arturo is part of the board of governors at the Philadelphia chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, (NARAS), and a member the American Society for Composers and Publishers (ASCAP).

I'm very proud and excited to have a creative and prolific artist like Arturo as part of the MEINL Percussion team. Stay tuned for more news about Arturo.
