The Grammys took center stage last night in the music industry, and Meinl Percussion artists won!

Meinl Percussion artist Marcie Chapa performed with solo artist and international R&B diva Beyonce, who went home with six grammys...a record for a female artist! Beyonce won in the categories of Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Meinl Percussion artist Toca Rivera performs with pop music maestro Jason Mraz, who won grammys for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.

The 2010 Grammy Awards are airing tonight on CBS network television at 8PM ET/PT, and Meinl Percussion will be there! Meinl Percussion artist Marcie Chapa will perform with Beyonce, who is up for a total of  seven grammys. Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contemporary R&B Album.  Meinl Percussion artist Luis Conte is up for a grammy with solo artist Colbie Caillat for Best Pop Vocal Album.
