About Me:

Baha is an international percussionist who started music at age 7 with the piano. Having taken classical piano lessons for more than 7 years, he passed the UK Royal Schools of Music examinations (piano and theory). He has played the percussion with a wide variety of music groups in the USA, North Cyprus, Latin America, and Turkey. In Washington DC, USA, he accompanied American University Jazz Ensemble, Ocio Jazz and Gibraltar Band in various festivals and concerts. In Guatemala, Latin America, he performed with a US-Guatemalan bossa nova group at Conjuntos de las Americas music festival. Currently, Baha is in Ankara, Turkey studying and researching Turkish music as well as playing latin, pop, rock, jazz, flamenco and ethnic music with different musicians.
