Jeroen de Rijk (1962) is a free lance multi styles percussionist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Since 1981 he works in studios (± 300 CD's, numerous commercials), live situations and as a clinician for Meinl Percussion Instruments and Cymbals.

Jeroen recorded for and/or played live with the likes of Yellowjackets, George Duke, Candy Dulfer, Gino Vannelli, Mezzoforte, Al Jarreau, Toots Thielemans and many others.

In 2014 ‘Lover Never Felt So Good’ was the first song on Michael Jackson’s Xscape album.

All percussion for this song was done by Jeroen, as for 3 tracks on the David Guetta ‘Listen’ album, including the single ‘What I Did For Love’.

For Stephen Emmer’s Home Ground album he recorded for tracks that feature Frank McComb, Chaka Khan and others.

Since 2010 Jeroen records for all sorts of projects from his ‘Percussion Today Home Studio’.

In 2017 he recorded for Bruno Mars vs David Guetta’s song ‘Versace On The Floor’ from this homestudio.

Also in 2017 - 2018: ‘N.E.W.S.’, a percussion act Jeroen developped with the 'Global Performance Artist Group’, will do a first theatre tour in Holland.

N.E.W.S. is about drumming from the 4 corners of the world ’North, East, West & South', with 4 drummers representing those corners.

In 2018 Jeroen played 2 sold out shows with the ‘Celebrating David Bowie’  show, featuring original Bowie band members and guest vocalists Joe Sumner and angelo Moore. 

Since January 2014 ‘Percussion Loops HD’ App is available in the iTunes Store and continuously sells worldwide.

It is a huge set of percussive sounds and time stretchable loops in all popular tempos and styles, all recorded by Jeroen.

Since 1998 he is owner of ‘Baileo Music Productions', a live music booking agency and label with ± 55 albums’s released.

Jeroen was chosen 'Best Percussionist of the Benelux' in '98, ’99, ’00, ’01, ’02, '03, '06, '07, ‘09 and again in 2012 by the readers of Slagwerkkrant.
