Biography
Since childhood, Carlo devoted himself to the study of music. He had graduated with praise in percussion instruments at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory of Music (Lecce, Italy). Subsequently, he took the degree of “Teaching of Music” at “N. Rota” Conservatory of Monopoli (Bari, Italy) and also graduated with praise in “Musical Disciplines with Interpretative Trend” at the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory of Music (Lecce, Italy).
He soon turned himself to the study of ethnical percussions under the teaching of prestigious Artists like Louis Agudo, Pete Lockett, Giovanni Imparato, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez, Robertinho Silva, Massimo Carrano.
During his career, he qualified himself with many professional experence collaborating with many musicians (Rick Margitza, Irio De Paula, Hector Ulises Passarella, Robertinho Silva, Zeduardo Martins, Arthur Miles, Cheryl Porter, Riccardo Cocciante, Massimo Ranieri, Gianna Nannini, Andrea Bocelli, Gianni Morandi, Simona Molinari, Samuele Bersani, Antonella Ruggiero, Al Bano, Pooh, Stadio, Renzo Arbore and many others) and with prestigious orchestras such as the “University of Lecce Orchestra”, “Paisiello Theatre Orchestra”, “Foundation I.C.O. Tito Schipa of Lecce Orchestra”, “Petruzzelli Theatre Orchestra of Bari”, “Simphony Orchestra of Pesaro”, “Inter-University Orchestra of Lecce and Parma”.
He also collaborated with many composers (Louis Bacalov Oscar for the music of “Il Postino”) and with eminent conductors among which were Maestro Riccardo Muti, Maestro Aldo Ceccato, Maestro Carlo Franci, Maestro Massimo Quarta.
A lot of times he was member of television orchestras at R.A.I. (National Television), Mediaset, MTV and Sky (Lecce Art Festival, Fiorello “Stasera Pago Io – Revolution”, “La Corrida”, Premio Regia Televisiva, Premio Barocco, Orange Camp, Oscar Tv) and took part in several jazz and ethnical festivals like the “Festival Interceltique du Lorient” (Lorient, France), the “Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival” (Rome, Italy), the “Perdonanza Celestiniana” (L’Aquila, Italy), the “Isola Folk” (Bergamo, Italy) and the “Festival Itinerario Brasile” (Frascati, Italy).
He held some courses of improvement, Clinics, and Masterclass for teachers, students, and musicians.
As a trainer, he has important collaborations in the field of Team Building with prestigious brands like Coca Cola, Mc Donalds, Telecom, Nestlè, Fastweb, Hilti, Sara Assicurazioni, etc…
