Jesse Benns Biography

Jesse Benns is a British percussionist, primarily playing with UK Blues Award winner Trevor Babajack Steger. Jesse came to prominence with folk rock band The Hawthornes, playing hundreds of shows in the 7 years they were together. Jesse also recorded with Gerry Colvin, formed a musical collective called Thrown Together, and toured with acts such as The Hoosiers, Phil Beer, and 3 Daft Monkeys. In 2019 Jesse joined folk rock band Glymjack, headlining numerous festivals. In 2022, Jesse joined Trevor Babajack Steger, collaborating on his UK Blues charting album Not Far to Go and touring extensively.
