Biography
Orhan is a drummer, percussionist, teacher, creator of his own percussion school, and creator of his own Cajon drumming style.
Orhan began studying music at the age of 15 years. He mastered the technique of independently playing percussion instruments and then enrolled at the faculty of the Kharkov Conservatory of pop and jazz where he learned to play drums.
He also studied at Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, took lessons from such great world-famous percussionists as Misirli Ahmet, Rhani Krija, Hussein Ceylan, and Zohar Fresco.
Orhan is taking part in various Ukrainian and international music projects (Irina Bilyk, Marinita, Gypsy Lyre, The Maneken, Zlata Ognevich, Оlya Сybulskaya, Jamala, Green Grey, Machete, Duende Flamenco, Belly Beat, Asia Tengri, Ritmo a dos, Jazz Kolo, Mariya Burmaka) of a wide range of styles from the authentic music of the east to jazz, rock, funk, etc. During his musical career, he has participated in many music festivals and forums, furthermore, he toured Europe and Asia.
