How we make it

Frame Drums

After bending the frame, it gets glued and cut into the proper shell depth.
The thumb hole of our deep shell frame drums has to be comfortable. Even after the finish is dry we check again.
All skins are carefully inspected for faultless quality.
A frame is being set with glue, just before the skin goes on.
The head is secured to the frame with glue and a band.
The extra skin is being removed. The frame drum is sitting inside a cutting guide jig ensuring a perfect cut.
The head is tacked securely to the frame.
