Alberto García, born in 1990 in Gran Canaria, is a virtuoso percussionist, educator, and composer. His musical prowess spans across the globe, participating in prestigious festivals and collaborating with jazz stars such as Jorge Rossy, Alfredo de la Fe, and Chico Freeman.
Alberto is a highly sought-after studio musician, and his collaborations include projects with Rayko Leon, Alain Perez, and Aydin Essen. In addition to his role as a musician, Alberto is a dedicated educator at the Konservatorium Winterthur and the Jazzcampus Basel.
As a leader, producer, and composer, Alberto leads various projects. His latest album, "Rajazz" featuring Jeff Ballard, showcases an innovative approach, and in his latest EP "Transformed Reverence" with Jorge Rossy, Eliel Lazo, Yumi Ito, and others, he arranges jazz standards and creates an explosive blend of cultures and traditions.
