Jason Castellanos Biography

Born in Bucaramanga Colombia, surrounded by artistic activities at the school, he chose the drums at an early age and continued to the university where he got his master's degree in music and a prize for the best regional drummer. During his adolescence and music career, he participated in countless recordings and getting a Pre Nomination to a Latin Grammy, many concerts with different bands, and also being part of the city's Symphony Orchestra.

After graduating, he mixed his musical life between teaching in universities and colleges with tours throughout Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States.

in 2017, he moved to Dubai and after participating in several music videos, he began to be part of the number 1 show in the Middle East, La Perle by Dragone, resident show winner of several awards and have played since the beginning in more than 1.000 shows recently. He's focused on record drums remotely for people around the world on his own drum studio and La Perle. He's endorsed by Meinl Percussion, Cympad, Big Fat Snare, and Subpac.
