John Holbrook Biography

John Holbrook is a drum tutor, based in Yorkshire, England, specialising in the art of improvisation, jazz, and hip hop.
John began playing the drums at age 11 and by age 14 was a finalist in the UK Young Drummer of the Year competition. John gained quick success from his passion for playing, gigging most nights of the week through his early teens. By age 19 he had graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Surrey with a First Class Degree in Music Industry Practice and has been playing and teaching professionally ever since.
John has recently been bringing his unique style and approach to clinics and masterclasses across the country with more to come over the next year.
